‘Caught A N-gger!’ New York Substitute Teacher Fired After Anti-Black Facebook Rant

A substitute pre-kindergarten teacher is making her way to the unemployment line after being fired over a disgustingly racist post published to her Facebook page.

Cassandra Elizabeth Sutton, who worked as a paraprofessional at the Children’s School of Rochester, was terminated after school officials discovered the Facebook post in which she bragged about “catching a n-gger” who was reportedly “armed and hiding behind the shed in my neighbor’s backyard.”

Sutton continued the ignorant rant by sarcastically wondering why “I don’t ever see white males committing crimes on my street,” and recounted a past incident where she caught a few “hood rat n-ggers breaking into my neighbors (sic) car.”

But the bigotry didn’t end there.

At the end of the post, the ex-substitute teacher insisted she wasn’t a racist. But a slew of offensive hashtags, including one that read #BlackPeopleAreFineN-ggersArentBIGDifference, proved otherwise.

Officials at the elementary school took swift action and fired Sutton immediately after the racist post surfaced.

“She was immediately terminated as soon as we saw the posting,”principal Jay Piper told The Democrat and Chronicle. “We pride ourselves on our diversity. They were very offensive and hurtful remarks.”

Brian Harding, president of TES Staffing, also confirmed that Sutton had been removed from all future substitute teaching assignments.

“At this point, I don’t think she can work for us anymore,” Harding said. “Her comments certainly do not reflect our values.”

The former paraprofessional has yet to comment or offer an apology for her offensive remarks. The post has since been deleted.
