  2. Amazing! Thank you so much. It's such a shame that we don't have Black History month here in Holland. Me and my Dance/theater group celebrate it ourselves though. Myfaro's beautiful daughters cover is just beautiful. 

  3. The Black Snowman sounds sooo good!
    MUFARO'S BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER'S! I was introduced to this book by one of my 4th grade teacher's! She read us like 7 diff Cinderella retellings, and then we had to write our own! I loved the African version and there was a Russian one (cant remember the name) that I really enjoyed as well!
    Of course I have to add on The Snowy Day!

  4. This is a great video, thanks for sharing! I took a children's literature course in while getting my masters and we had a (much too short) unit about diversity in children's books, but none of the ones you mentioned were talked about. Incidentally, this year is the 50th anniversary of the classic The Snowy Day.
