Janet Jackson’s husband, Wissam Al Mana, has updated his website with a spiritual message from the Quran amid news that he and Jackson are splitting just months after their son was born.
Al Mana posted the following on his official website:
You shall most certainly be tried in your possessions and in your persons; and indeed you shall hear many hurtful things from those to whom revelation was granted before your time, as well as from those who have come to ascribe divinity to other beings beside Allah. But if you remain patient in adversity and conscious of Him – this, behold, is something to set one’s heart upon. – 3:186
Jackson and Al Mana had been married for five years before the news of their split was announced. The pair recently welcomed their son, Eissa Al Mana in January.
While neither have publicly commented on their divorce, reports suggest their parting was rooted in cultural differences.
