  1. Black History Month is for black people who either recognise their history as beginning from slavery, define themselves from a white reference point ie they are only black because a white person is white or, have an inferiority complex.

  2. Does something have to be wrong with seeing people's ethnicity??
If a person/child gets lost/kidnapped tomorrow, i'm pretty sure that we wouldn't be looking for a person/child in a blue jeans & pink t-shirt! I'm pretty sure that we'd be looking for a person/child in a blue jeans & pink t-shirt, of xyz ethnicity, with xyz colored eyes, with xyz colored hair, with xyz identifying scars, tattoos, birthmarks etc!

There was a time where i was actually "colour-blind", but with all of the tumult and social unrest, i do see it now. Each ethnicity is so clearly defined now. Some are so bloody militant too. I give everyone MORE than their fair shot of chances to prove themselves, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, age, class, background…regardless of anything really, and at this point in my life, that's just good enough for me!

  3. Mr. Morgan Freeman can take the idealistic and ADMIRABLE high road and call anyone and everyone by their given name but they will ALWAYS refer to Mr Freeman as a BLACK man. Such is human nature.
