Two weeks ago, Anthony “Fif” Soares was gunned down outside of his apartment complex in Toronto, and on Satrday, Drake served as a pallbearer at his funeral.
According to TMZ, Drake did not speak at the funeral and was seen to be quiet and reserved during the procession in which he served as a pallbearer, in obvious mourning over the loss of his friend.
The service was held at the Ogden Funeral Home chapel before moving on to the Duffin Meadows Cemetery.

While Drake didn’t speak at the funeral, he did take to Instagram to speak on the loss: “RIP to one of our family members…our brother… I still can’t even believe this morning was real. It was a honor to have shared years together and I will always keep your memory alive — Forever Fif.”
Last week, the disturbing footage of Fif being shot down by two men was released by Toronto police, who have not yet identified the suspects involved in the shooting. The video graphically shows the moment that Fif was murdered.
Our hearts are with Drake and the OVO family as they mourn their loss.
