Many of our advertisers are local businesses that have been impacted directly by the fire. Some suffered extensive damage, while others were completely destroyed, and all have had to close their doors. Out of respect for our community, we immediately removed all advertisements the day after the fire and transformed our site to provide live updates. We felt it would be inappropriate to run ads while our friends, colleagues, and neighbors were being evacuated and displaced.
As residents of the area, we too have been affected; unlike some, we don’t outsource our operations overseas. Our priority has been to keep you and ourselves informed with timely, reliable updates from credible sources.
If you’re in a position to help, even a small contribution of $5 can make a significant difference. Please click the blue button below to learn more about how you can assist.
