National Urban League President Marc Morial called possible voting rights rollbacks “absurd and obscene” during an Oct. 16 address at the University Club of Memphis in Midtown Memphis.
In his “State of Black America” address, Morial focused on the history of the Civil Rights Movement and the condition of the modern movement, with an emphasis on voting rights.
