The Federal Bureau of Investigations is seeking information about the whereabouts of a missing Georgia mother.

Leila Cavett, 21, was last seen on July 25 after traveling from Georgia to Fort Lauderdale, according to witnesses.

Cavett’s 2-year-old son, Kamdyn, was found barefoot, walking alone in South Florida.

The FBI officials said Cavett’s vehicle was found in Hollywood, about 12 miles away from where the child was spotted. Cavett’s family is trying to gain custody of Kamdyn, who is currently in foster care.

“Leila’s separation from her son is completely out of character. Her family and others in our community are very concerned about her safety and well-being,” the family said in a statement, according to ABC News. “Thanks to our community Kamdyn is safe and being cared for.”

Cavett has distinct features. She is a Black woman who is about 5’4″ tall, about 120 pounds. She has two tattoos: the name Kamdyn on her right inner arm and Jesus fish emblem on her right wrist.

Special agent George Piro, the man in charge of the FBI’s Miami field office, said on Friday morning that his agency discovered some leads, which lead to the arrest of Shanon Ryan, 38, in connection with the disappearance of Cavett.

“We are investigating every possibility as to why Leila went missing,” Piro said in the statement. “Additionally, along with our other law enforcement partners, we are relentlessly pursuing a large number of leads developed out of the investigation to date to reunite Kamdyn and Leila.”

Ryan, according to his Facebook page, is a practicer of witchcraft and new age spirituality, The Orlando Sentinel reported. He is the owner and founder of Magnetic Kundalini, a business described on its page as “witchcraft, knowledge of self, kemetic kundalini and chakra meditation, kemetic science, health, wellness, fitness, mentorship.”

The man in question used vague and ambiguous language to discuss his alleged connection with Cavett.

On Aug. 6, Ryan posted two photos of people who were supposedly police officers or federal agents in plainclothes searching a silver Lexus sedan, and another photo of a truck that matches the description of Cavett’s vehicle provided by Hollywood Police.

“I can’t figure out what I did to make the FBI want to investigate me. Well you know where I am at if you want to come get me. I’m not running, I’m just not coming to you,” he wrote, The Sentinel reported.
