Today Show viewers react to Tamron Hall being replaced by Megyn Kelly

On Friday, People announced that it had learned that Megyn Kelly will be hosting an hour of NBC News’ Today Show, but because of her inclusion, Tamron Hall is getting pushed out of the show.

There are two possible options for Kelly’s inclusion. She will either take over the third hour or she will take the 10:00 a.m. time slot currently hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Should Kelly take the fourth hour slot, Gifford and Kotb will be bumped up to the third hour, so either choice means that Hall and Al Roker will no longer be hosting the third hour together.

That announcement has led to shock and, in my cases, outrage as many Today Show viewers took to social media to express their frustration and disbelief that this decision was being made.

However, while there have been rumors that Hall will leave the network, sources there say that for the moment, she is not going anywhere, and she will still be hosting MSNBC Live, a daily news program on MSNBC.
